Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

Location: Marathon, WI

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $28.00–$32.00/hour + $2.50/hour shift differential

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2nd & 3rd Shift Opportunities

The Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join a well-established manufacturing operation in Marathon, WI.

This is a hands-on industrial maintenance position for someone who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving mechanical and electrical problems, and keeping production running safely and efficiently.

Available Shifts

  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
  • 3rd Shift: Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
  • $2.50/hour shift differential

What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment failures and complete necessary repairs
  • Troubleshoot industrial production machinery and equipment
  • Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance
  • Work with pneumatic systems and basic hydraulic equipment
  • Assist with equipment shutdowns, outages, and planned maintenance activities
  • Perform minor facility repairs involving plumbing, electrical systems, and painting
  • Identify equipment issues before they result in extended downtime
  • Work closely with maintenance leadership and production teams to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently
  • Complete additional maintenance responsibilities as required

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical, vocational, or industrial maintenance training is highly preferred
  • 1–5 years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing production or manufacturing equipment
  • Working knowledge of pneumatic systems
  • Basic hydraulic knowledge preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to prioritize repairs and follow established maintenance and safety procedures
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. without assistance
  • Willingness to assist with call-ins or additional shifts when required

Compensation

$28.00–$32.00/hour based on experience, plus a $2.50/hour shift differential.
