An experienced Field Service Supervisor is needed in Jacksonville, Florida. Take the lead for coordinating and managing service technicians/mechanics who perform on-site maintenance and repairs on heavy construction machinery. Ensuring efficient scheduling, communication, and logistics to minimize downtime for customers. This is a well-resourced operation with an experienced team of technicians, management, administrators, parts personnel, and manufacturer support in place.

Compensation:

• $65,000 - $75,000/year to start.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain repair schedules for all field personnel on daily basis
• Create work orders and oversees ordering of necessary parts and materials, providing all pertinent information to service department administrators for closing of work orders and invoicing
• Maintain constant communication with customers by providing repair estimates, change recommendations, scheduling, and completion dates for field repairs and services, and obtains customer approval for these services
• Communicate with other internal department by providing repair estimates, change recommendations, scheduling, and completion dates for field repairs or services
• Oversee maintenance condition of all rental units in the field
• Provide schedules for outside vendors and manufacturers
• Track the failed parts removed from all machines in the field
• Oversee maintenance of field technician service trucks, lube trucks and other service department vehicles for safety, repairs, and maintenance

Qualifications:

• Previous service dispatch experience from the Heavy Equipment or Diesel Truck industry
• Knowledge of heavy equipment, maintenance processes, and repair terminology
• Experience with dispatching software and GPS tracking tools
