We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Middletown, CT. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of 15 Diesel Buses and 15 Gas E350 Vehicles. This is a day shift position, Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, offering an excellent work-life balance with no on-call duties and some overtime available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel buses and gas vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues independently.
• Ensure vehicles meet all safety and operational standards.
• Utilize air brake system knowledge for effective repairs (experience preferred).
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Collaborate with team members and utilize provided support when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with air brake systems is a plus.
• Class B CDL is advantageous; assistance available for obtaining if necessary.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
