Pay: $40.00–$55.00 per hour
Travel: Approximately 30%
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Field Millwright to support heavy industrial operations in Apple Grove, WV, and surrounding areas.
This is a senior-level field position for someone who can work independently, troubleshoot complex equipment problems, perform major repairs, and take ownership of a job from diagnosis through completion.
We are looking for a true self-starter with experience in steel mills, aggregate plants, mining, quarries, heavy equipment, material processing, or similar industrial environments.

What You'll Be Doing
- Diagnose and repair heavy industrial and mobile equipment
- Perform major mechanical repairs and component replacements
- Repair and rebuild crushers, screens, conveyors, and processing equipment
- Troubleshoot engines, hydraulics, bearings, gearboxes, belts, motors, and drive systems
- Perform engine diagnostics and repairs
- Complete welding and fabrication as needed
- Respond to breakdowns and complete repairs in the field
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Work on specialized equipment including pot carriers, TMLs, Terbergs, Sennebogen equipment, CAT equipment, and Cummins-powered machinery
- Use diagnostic software such as Cummins INSITE when applicable
- Coordinate parts and additional resources required to complete repairs
- Maintain and stock an assigned field service truck
- Travel to other facilities and projects throughout West Virginia and surrounding areas as required
What We're Looking For
- Strong Millwright, Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Industrial Mechanic, or Field Service Technician background
- Advanced mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with major equipment repairs and rebuilds
- Strong hydraulic and mechanical experience
- Engine repair and diagnostic experience
- Welding and fabrication skills
- Experience with crushers, conveyors, screens, or similar industrial equipment is highly valuable
- CAT and/or Cummins experience strongly preferred
- Cummins INSITE experience is an asset
- Comfortable working independently in the field
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver's license
- CDL Class A with Air Brakes or ability to obtain one
- Willingness to travel approximately 30%
Who Will Succeed
We are looking for someone who can be given a field service truck and a difficult repair and be trusted to figure out what needs to be done.
You should be mechanically strong, resourceful, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently. You will have support when needed, but this role is best suited for someone who takes ownership of their work and enjoys solving challenging equipment problems.
