About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic/Technician/Millwright. In this hands-on role, you’ll maintain, repair, and improve high-capacity production and packaging equipment in a leading food manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance on food manufacturing, packaging, and automation systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Work with industrial ovens, mixers, conveyors, proofers, and packaging lines.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder logic.
• Support production teams to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Record work using a CMMS system and follow GMP, HACCP, and safety standards.
• Mentor junior technicians and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in food manufacturing or industrial bakery maintenance.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and PLC troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of automation systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) – must speak, read, and understand both.
• Electrical license or maintenance certification required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in high-heat or confined-space environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Omron PLCs/HMIs.
• Welding or fabrication skills.
• Familiarity with CMMS platforms (Fiix, eMaint, SAP PM).
