Job Description:

We are seeking a 310T Truck and Coach Technician/Diesel Mechanic for immediate hire in Ottawa, Ontario. This is a comfortable shop role with a national outfit celebrating over three decades of continued success.

You will be relied upon to maintain a mixed fleet of sweeper trucks, water trucks, dump trucks, highway trucks, roll off trucks, highway plows, and utility trailers. You will even get the opportunity to turn wrenches on compact to medium sized equipment - front end loaders, skid steers, mini excavators, and tractors.

The truck maintenance will consist of inspections, safeties, preventive maintenance, and bumper to bumper repair, including diesel and electrical systems. The equipment maintenance will consist of services, maintenance, and minor hydraulic repair. This is a steady fleet maintenance role servicing long term clients ranging from commercial corporations, municipalities, and government agencies.

Compensation:

• $40.00 - $45.00/hour to start depending on experience.

Shift:

• Days, 6:00am - 2:30pm (Monday to Friday).



Qualifications:

• 310T Truck and Coach Journeyman License or equivalent Red Seal certification.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Bumper to bumper truck repair experience
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems
• Prior maintenance experience with off-highway equipment and/or hydraulic systems is ideal but not mandatory
