We are seeking multiple Diesel Mechanics for a shop position in Vaughan, Ontario. This role will be maintaining trucks utilized for municipal and public works operations. This is a well-tooled shop with the nature of the customer base guaranteeing stable & long-term work. Experienced Truck & Coach Technicians, Heavy Equipment Mechanics, and Automotive Service Technicians are encouraged to apply in confidence.

The Gig:

• Perform trouble shooting, inspections and repairs on a variety of trucks and equipment 
• Communicating effectively with the Service Writer and Parts team to ensure optimal efficiency
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance tasks and inspections on diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Day shift, 7:00am – 4:00pm (Monday to Friday) 

Compensation:

• $35.00-$45.00/hour with flexibility for a higher starting rate based on experience

Your Background:

• Licensed 421A, 310T, 310S or senior apprentice 
• Experience maintaining diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Valid Driver’s License with Clean Abstract
