A rapidly expanding fire protection company is immediately hiring a Kitchen Fire Suppression Technician to cover the DMV area (Northern Viriginia, Maryland and DC).

Kitchen Suppression Technicians will diagnose, troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain a variety of pre-engineered kitchen hood fire suppression systems, such as ANSUL R-102, Kidde, Pyro Chem, Range Guard, or similar systems in commercial and light industrial settings (i.e. restaurants, schools, hospitality) completing documentation of work performed using a tablet; other related duties as required.

SHIFT: Days, 7:00am – 3:30pm (Monday – Friday). OT after 40 hours. Flexible to work on-call in an emergency basis if needed (rare).

SUPPRESSION TECHNICIAN JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• At least one (1) years service, repair, and maintenance experience with kitchen fire suppression systems (i.e. Hydrotek, Buckeye, Ansul, Redilite,  Kidde, etc.)
• Knowledgeable of NFPA 96 and NFPA
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks (Criminal, MVR)
