Trailer Mechanics / Trailer Technicians

Compensation

$18.00 – $30.00+ per hour (depending on experience and skill level)

We are hiring Trailer Mechanics at all experience levels, including Entry Level, Mechanic I, Mechanic II, and Mechanic III, to support a family-owned, full-service dealership that has been in operation since 1970.

This position offers steady, year-round work in a modern, well-equipped facility, with opportunities for skill development and long-term employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on trailers
• Build, rebuild, and repair trailer components as required
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain trailer equipment
• Use hand tools and test equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain clean and organized work areas following housekeeping standards
• Operate forklifts as required
• Perform related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Trailer repair experience preferred (all skill levels encouraged to apply)
• Ability to diagnose and repair trailer systems and components
• Must provide own basic hand tools
• Comfortable using hand tools and diagnostic/test equipment
• Ability to follow shop safety standards and procedures

Requirements

• Ability to understand oral and written communication
• Ability to utilize service manuals, technical bulletins, and written directives
• Willingness to work assigned shifts, including some Saturdays
• Must own necessary basic tools
