A well-established mechanical company (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Protection) in Hempstead, NY is immediately looking for an organized and experienced Service Manager to manage and supervise their team and oversee the overall operations.

Working primarily in the office, the Service Manager will be responsible for supervising, mentoring, and training; creating, scheduling, and closing work orders; completing site visits to review work’ prepare quotes, estimates, material and equipment take off; ordering parts and materials needed for the job; resolve client and employee issues, etc.

 

JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous management/leadership experience in the Fire Protection/Suppression, HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical industry
  • Previous commercial service and/or installation experience in HVAC, Fire Protection/Suppression, Plumbing, or Electrical equipment and systems
  • Knowledgeable of NFPA 
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work tasks to maximize efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction
  • Any trade and safety licenses/certifications considered a strong asset (i.e. NFPA I/II, EPA Universal, Plumber License, HVAC License, OSHA-30, etc.)
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean MVOR

 

The successfully hired Service Manager must pass a pre-employment background check (Criminal, Driving, and References).

 

SHIFT: Days, 7:00am – 4:00pm (Monday – Friday). Must be willing to answer after hours calls from techs in case of emergency.

 

COMPENSATION & COMPANY PERKS:

  • $120,000 - $130,000++/year
