Position: HVAC Technician

Location: Honolulu / Oahu

Salary: $80,000 – $110,000 (Based on Experience)

We're on the hunt for a Rockstar HVAC Service Technician ready to bring their expertise to one of the most beautiful places on Earth—Honolulu and the greater Oahu area. If you’re a seasoned tech who takes pride in your craft and wants to work with a team that values skill, safety, and service, this one’s for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on a wide range of HVAC systems: chillers, boilers, RTUs, exhaust fans, air handlers, and thermostats.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
• Tweak and troubleshoot Building Automation Systems (BAS) to keep everything running smoothly.
• Handle service calls with speed and professionalism—you're the go-to problem solver.
• Swap out faulty parts: motors, belts, compressors, filters, and valves—you know the drill.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Ensure full compliance with HVAC codes, safety standards, and company protocols.
• Collaborate on system upgrades and replacements—your input matters.
• Communicate with clarity and confidence with supervisors, contractors, and teammates.
• Maintain your tools, gear, and parts inventory—organized and ready to roll.

What We’re Looking For:

• 4+ years of hands-on HVAC experience.
• Deep knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical/electrical components, and current codes.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring schematics, and service manuals like a pro.
• Independent worker with strong troubleshooting skills—but you play well with a team, too.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA Certification preferred.

Physical & Work Requirements:

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable climbing, kneeling, and working in tight spots.
• Able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including hot or humid conditions.
• Frequent use of hand and power tools.
