We are seeking an Operations Manager in Poteet, Texas for an industry leading frac and sand plant. This position will be responsible for directing, coordinating, and overseeing the day-to-day operations at the facility. Lucrative pay, relocation assistance, a yearly bonus, and vehicle allowance is provided.

The Gig:

• Manage daily operations to ensure production goals
• Generate weekly and monthly reports tracking key performance indicators - mining, processing, production tonnage, sales tonnage, operating efficiency
• Direct geotechnical activities: surveying, sampling and sand optimization
• Assess training needs of department personnel
• Work with management team to meet required customers’ demands while balancing plant production
• Oversee personnel actions such as hires, promotions, transfers, discharges, and corrective/attendance counseling
• Some travel is required to other plant locations in the United States

Qualifications:

• Prior management experience in manufacturing, mining or aggregates
• Ability to effectively lead and mentor a team ranging from management to hourly employees while promoting open communication
• Experience monitoring and assessing the performance of direct reports in order to make improvements or take corrective action

Compensation:

• $155,000 - $160,000/year to start
• Yearly bonus
• Relocation assistance up to $10,000
• Vehicle allowance
