A rapidly expanding full-service fire and life safety provider is immediately hiring an experienced and results-driven Project Manager in Bogart, GA to oversee their commercial construction projects in the Metro Atlanta, GA area. You would join a company that invests in their employees and are members of the NAFED (National Association of Fire Equipment Distributors) and NFPA (National Fire Protection Association).

As the Commercial Construction Project Manager, you will manage small-large commercial projects from preconstruction to closeout, to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Demonstrating leadership and expertise in life safety and/or electrical systems, your specific duties include, but are not limited to:

-         Managing all phases of commercial construction projects (including planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution, and closeout.)

-         Developing and monitoring project schedules and budgets; identify and mitigate risks.

-         Coordinating with owners, engineers, subcontractors etc.

-         Completing regular site visits to oversee projects for safety, compliance, and quality

-         Reviewing construction documents, drawings, and specifications for accuracy

-         Maintaining accurate Job P&L tracking from preconstruction through closeout, with regularly updated cost-to-complete forecasts.

 

 SHIFT: Days, 8:00am – 4:00pm (Monday – Friday).

 

 COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

·      4 – 6 years project management experience in commercial construction

·      Proficient with project management platforms (i.e. BuildingConnected, Procore, GC Pay, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.)

·      Experience managing commercial projects involving life safety and electrical systems (i.e. fire alarm, suppression, egress, access control, emergency lighting, etc.).

·      Knowledgeable of NFPA, NEC, IBC, and related life safety and electrical codes and standards.

·      PMP (Project Management Professional) certification considered an asset

·      Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

 

The successfully hired Project Manager must pass a pre-employment background check (Criminal and MVR). 

 

COMPENSATION & COMPANY PERKS:

·      $70,000 - $90,000/year

·      Commission
