A rapidly expanding full-service fire and life safety provider is immediately hiring an experienced and results-driven Project Manager in Bogart, GA to oversee their commercial construction projects in the Metro Atlanta, GA area. As the Commercial Construction Project Manager, you will manage small-large commercial projects from preconstruction to closeout, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Demonstrating leadership and expertise in life safety and/or electrical systems, your specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Managing all phases of commercial construction projects (including planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution, and closeout.)
- Developing and monitoring project schedules and budgets; identify and mitigate risks.
- Coordinating with owners, engineers, subcontractors etc.
- Completing regular site visits to oversee projects for safety, compliance, and quality
- Reviewing construction documents, drawings, and specifications for accuracy
- Maintaining accurate Job P&L tracking from preconstruction through closeout, with regularly updated cost-to-complete forecasts.
SHIFT: Days, 8:00am – 4:00pm (Monday – Friday).
COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
· 4 – 6 years project management experience in commercial construction
· Proficient with project management platforms (i.e. BuildingConnected, Procore, GC Pay, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.)
· Experience managing commercial projects involving life safety and electrical systems (i.e. fire alarm, suppression, egress, access control, emergency lighting, etc.).
· Knowledgeable of NFPA, NEC, IBC, and related life safety and electrical codes and standards.
· PMP (Project Management Professional) certification considered an asset
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
The successfully hired Project Manager must pass a pre-employment background check (Criminal and MVR).
COMPENSATION & COMPANY PERKS:
· $70,000 - $90,000/year
