The Commercial HVAC Tech will lead, mentor, and train junior technicians; install, modify, troubleshoot, service, repair, and maintain some residential, but primiarly light commercial and commercial HVAC equipment and systems, including but not limited to RTU's, air handlers, make up air units, package units, heat pumps, compressors, evaorators, humidifiers, chillers, cooling towers, etc.



COMMERCIAL HVAC SERVICE MECHANIC JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 313A Refrigeration License mandatory
  • G1 or G2 Gas Fitter License, or Frigoriste (QC) Certification
  • Strong electrical and mechanical skills
  • Ability to read and interpret instruction manuals, blueprints, and control system drawings
  • Own tools
  • Valid "G" driver’s license with a clean driver’s license
  • Ability to pass and maintain security clearance with the government of Canada


WORKING SCHEDULE: Days, 7:30am - 4pm or 8:00am - 4:30pm (Monday -Friday). OT after 40 hours. On call: 1x/week. Must be willing to work in the event of a power outage or declared State of Emergency by any level of Government. Minimal overnight travel required (i.e. 1 day every 6 months or so).

  • $50.00 - $60.00/hour+++, paid bi-weekly through direct deposit
