Our client is an operator-led talent management platform supporting organizations across recruiting, leadership development, career transition, and strategic people solutions.


Due to expansion across Canada, as well as organic growth and strategic acquisitions, we are looking to hire a proven new business producer to help drive sales and business development activities.


This role is built for a true hunter; someone who thrives on opening doors, building meaningful executive relationships, creating pipelines from scratch, and winning premium mandates.


Your primary focus will be selling executive search and recruiting services as the entry point into new client partnerships, while strategically expanding accounts into broader talent solutions over time.

Please note that this role will include a base salary, uncapped commission, as well as a health care spending account and vacation. Office presence in Burnaby is required – full time at the beginning, and remote work can be arranged in the future, once trust is established.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Drive net-new business across executive search, recruiting, and related talent solutions
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and outreach to closing and account expansion
  • Execute disciplined outbound activity (calls, LinkedIn, email, events) with clear daily targets and conversion expectations
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate priority industries and accounts
  • Pitch and present tailored solutions to HR leaders, founders, executives, and business owners
  • Maintain a healthy, accurate pipeline in HubSpot CRM and consistently meet or exceed monthly revenue targets
  • Partner closely with recruiters and delivery teams to ensure seamless client execution
  • Identify and convert upsell and cross-sell opportunities across our service lines
  • Drive strategic account expansion by identifying and converting opportunities across recruiting, fractional HR, leadership development, and career transition services

 

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 7+ years of business development experience in the recruiting or talent acquisition industry
  • Proven track record of winning new business and generating new leads
  • Confident engaging senior decision-makers, closing high value B2B deals
  • Competitive mindset, operating with a sense of urgency and ownership
  • Motivated by uncapped commission, building relationships and driving measurable growth
