About Our Client

Our client, a growing manufacturing organization, is seeking an experienced Accounting Analyst with approximately 4+ years of accounting experience. This role offers a dynamic environment where the successful candidate will take ownership of the full accounting lifecycle for the site and play a critical role in driving financial accuracy, operational insight, and business performance.


Reporting to the Finance Manager at the parent company, this individual will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations and site-level financials, including month-end close, AP/AR, internal controls, inventory accounting, and financial forecasting. This is a highly visible role and a key contributor to the leadership team.


Responsibilities:

Financial Close, Reporting & Forecasting

  • Own and execute the monthly financial close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Deliver timely and accurate financial statements and site-level financial results.
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and long-range forecasting processes.
  • Support the development of annual plant budgets, including manufacturing standards and period expense budgets.
  • Prepare and enhance financial reporting related to production, sales performance, and operational metrics.

Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable & Cash Management

  • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments and collections.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and support cash flow visibility.

Payroll & Third-Party Coordination

  • Oversee and coordinate third-party payroll administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Business Partnership & Operational Support

  • Act as a finance business partner to plant operations, linking operational performance to financial outcomes.
  • Support a lean manufacturing culture by participating in gemba walks, kaizen events, and value stream mapping initiatives as needed.
  • Identify and support cost reduction and efficiency improvement opportunities.

Internal Controls, Inventory & Capital Projects

  • Implement and maintain compliance with corporate financial policies and procedures.
  • Ensure strong internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
  • Manage inventory accounting, including cycle counts and annual physical inventory processes.
  • Ensure capital projects comply with corporate policies and demonstrate appropriate financial returns.

Analysis & Special Projects

  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support leadership decision-making.
  • Develop insights and projections to improve visibility into future business performance.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Approximately 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or a related industry.
  • Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Proven ability to connect plant operational metrics with financial performance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across plant and corporate teams.
  • Detail-oriented, customer-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality, accurate results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Able to work on site, full time
