About Our Client:

Our client is a commercial construction supplier specializing in high-quality building materials for contractors, architects, and designers. They pride themselves on hard work, genuine customer care, and a team-oriented environment where everyone is treated with respect.

We’re looking for a motivated and driven individual to join their team in a unique role — someone who can take on sales and operations responsibilities today, with the potential to grow into a leadership role in the future.


This is a hands-on position blending operations, customer service, and sales. The ideal candidate is comfortable rolling up their sleeves — whether it’s quoting a customer, helping warehouse staff or meeting a client for lunch. This is not a sit-behind-the-desk role — it’s for someone who wants to grow, contribute, and be part of a hardworking team.


Our client will provide a salary, bonus tied to KPIs, and there is an opportunity for a company truck. They also provide healthcare spending and vacation. 


Responsibilities:

  • Quote products for clients by phone and email
  • Provide technical information and product knowledge to customers
  • Support warehouse staff and drivers with daily needs
  • Review delivery routes and coordinate shipments
  • Visit customer offices, deliver samples, and maintain strong relationships
  • Meet with architects and designers to discuss products
  • Cold call and prospect new business opportunities
  • Follow up regularly to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty

 

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of B2B sales experience
  • A consultative sales approach, focused on finding the best outcome for the client over making a sale
  • Strong work ethic (willing to do what it takes — from delivering a product to meeting a client for lunch)
  • Business acumen and leadership potential
  • Personable and confident with clients
  • Industrious and humble — no job is “beneath you”
  • Driven to grow financially and professionally
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • An understanding of commercial construction markets is a major asset
  • Willing to work 5 days a week out of a Langley office
