About Our Client:

Our client is an Engineering company that designs and manufactures heavy industrial equipment. Located in North Vancouver. They are looking for a hands-on Accountant/Bookkeeper to take full responsibility of all accounting and payroll for the company.

Suitable candidate will be comfortable having full responsibility for all bookkeeping and accounting, working in-office and have strong references to confirm experience.

• Bank reconciliations
• Intercompany account reconciliations
• Intercompany billings
• AR
• AP
• Banking
• Recording all transactions in either Sage 50 or Syspro
• Sales tax filings (GST, PST and US state sales tax)
• Payment of income taxes (Canada and US)
• Keeping accurate books and financial statements
• Payroll, (US and Canada)
• Recording engineers times to various projects

Experience

• Strong Excel skills
• Experience on Sage 50
• Syspro software experience is a plus
• ADP for Payroll
• Previous payroll processing experience required
• Fully understands debits and credits
• Quick learner and self learner
• Able to work independently
