Their comprehensive portfolio of sustainable, non-GMO ingredient solutions undergoes rigorous analysis, both at the source and beyond, to ensure our proteins, prebiotics, fibers, sweeteners and mushroom powders  are free from GMOs and allergens and meet or exceed our specifications every time. They are looking to add a Business Development Manager role in the US.

Qualifications: 

  • A strategic and disciplined sales professional with a compelling personality, strong listening skills, and a relentless drive to expand existing customer relationships while actively hunting and closing new business through cold calls, warm leads, and strategic outreach.
  • Goal-oriented and motivated to succeed, with a proven track record of customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth in B2B sales—preferably within the food ingredients industry.
  • Adaptable and solution-focused, skilled in understanding client needs and delivering clear, decisive, and value-driven communication that builds trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Entrepreneurial, naturally curious, and eager to learn, always seeking new ways to identify market gaps and position innovative ingredient solutions for customers.
  • A skilled networker, adept at building and nurturing strong relationships with both new prospects and existing customers to drive sales growth in the fast-evolving food ingredients industry.
  • Collaborative and market-savvy, working cross-functionally to analyze industry trends, identify high-growth opportunities, and develop strategic business initiatives that enhance revenue margins and drive company success.
  • Adept at leveraging strong communication and relationship-building skills, fostering internal and external partnerships that contribute to sustainable business success.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of direct sales experience in the Food Ingredients sector; Food & Beverage (F&B) or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. Major account management, considered an asset.
  • Proven ability to generate high-quality leads and drive new business opportunities.
  • Expertise in delivering both technical and business presentations to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals and building long-term partnerships.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly (30-35% of the time).
  • Valid travel and medical documentation for current and future travel in the U.S. and EU.

  • Base salary of $110K - $120K, plus commission, annual performance bonus, health/dental plan, 401(k), laptop, cell phone, and mileage.


The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the growth of our business within a defined territory in the U.S. by leveraging best-in-class products, outstanding customer service, and a team of dedicated professionals.
