Their comprehensive portfolio of sustainable, non-GMO ingredient solutions undergoes rigorous analysis, both at the source and beyond, to ensure our proteins, prebiotics, fibers, sweeteners and mushroom powders  are free from GMOs and allergens and meet or exceed our specifications every time. They are looking to add a Business Development Manager role in the US.

The Role:

This role is well suited to a sales professional who thrives in a relationship-driven, consultative selling environment, is comfortable working remotely while staying closely connected to a collaborative head office team, and enjoys partnering cross-functionally to create value for customers.


The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth within a defined territory by deepening relationships with existing customers and thoughtfully developing new business opportunities. You will represent THI’s portfolio of plant-based ingredients, supported by a knowledgeable internal team and a strong reputation for quality, service, and reliability.



Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales within food ingredients, food & beverage, CPG, or adjacent industries
  • Demonstrated success in customer development, account growth, and new business generation
  • Experience delivering both technical and commercial presentations to diverse stakeholders
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build long-term partnerships
  • Comfort working remotely while maintaining strong alignment with a distributed team
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25% of the time, with travel generally planned in advance around customer visits, trade shows, and scheduled meetings
  • Valid travel and medical documentation for travel within North America and EU
  • A strategic and disciplined sales professional who builds trust through strong listening skills and a consultative, value-based approach
  • Experienced in growing existing customer relationships while also confidently developing new business through targeted outreach, warm introductions, and thoughtful prospecting
  • Results-oriented, with a proven ability to acquire and retain customers and drive sustainable revenue growth in a B2B environment
  • Curious and growth-minded, eager to learn, ask insightful questions, and identify opportunities where customers can succeed with innovative ingredient solutions
  • Skilled at building authentic, long-term relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams
  • Collaborative and commercially savvy, comfortable working cross-functionally to understand market trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities
  • An effective communicator who brings clarity, professionalism, and empathy to every interaction
