About the client:
Our client is a boutique consulting firm specializing in permitting, regulatory, and environmental advisory services. They support clients in the natural resources and infrastructure sectors, working closely with leadership teams, Indigenous communities, and regulators to deliver complex projects. Their performance-based model aligns their success directly with client outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, including managing scopes, proposals, invoicing, and payments
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring delivery across scope, schedule, budget, and quality
- Monitor and forecast project performance (scope, schedule, budget), and proactively resolve risks and delays
- Manage contracts, amendments, and external consultants/contractors
- Develop and implement regulatory strategies and permitting plans to support project approvals
- Support and coordinate Indigenous engagement and stakeholder relations, including agreement implementation
- Collaborate with leadership on project strategy, resource planning, and business development initiatives
- Mentor and support the development of junior team members
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in a relevant field
- 7+ years of project management experience in environmental, regulatory, or resource development consulting
- Experience with environmental and/or socioeconomic impact assessments in BC (other Canadian jurisdictions is an asset)
- Experience working with proponents, regulators, and/or Indigenous Nations
- Strong understanding of Indigenous relations, including First Nations rights and title

Assets

Salary: $115,000-$150,000 | Performance Bonus | Paid Vacation | Benefits
