Responsibilities


  • Install, maintain, and repair production equipment including coffee roasters, grinders, conveyors, packaging lines, and material handling systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure reliable plant operations.
  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Support equipment upgrades, process improvements, and plant optimization initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and food manufacturing practices (GMP, HACCP).
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to maintain efficient and uninterrupted operations.


Qualifications

  • Industrial Electrician Certification required; Red Seal Millwright certification considered an asset.
  • Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in food, beverage, or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems.
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical components including pumps, bearings, gearboxes, belts, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and food manufacturing standards.
