Job Summary
The Chief Operating Officer (COO), reporting directly to the President (Owner), will play a critical role in guiding company’s continued growth and operational excellence. The COO will be responsible for transforming strategic vision into measurable results, driving efficiency, and building a high-performing, aligned team culture. With proven expertise in both Sales and Operations within a manufacturing environment—ideally packaging, printing, or related industries—the COO will bring strong leadership, foresight, and execution capabilities to shape the company’s path forward.
Responsibilities
- Translate the President’s strategic vision into actionable operational plans and measurable outcomes.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and on-time delivery of customer commitments.
- Drive process improvements to enhance operational performance and product quality.
- Monitor and evaluate business performance through data analysis, KPIs, and metrics-driven decision-making.
- Partner with the President and Operations Manager to strengthen technical knowledge and operational insights.
- Build and develop a high-performing operations team through succession planning, role alignment, and skill development.
- Foster collaboration across departments, creating cross-functional alignment to achieve company-wide strategic goals.
- Champion a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully turning around a department, division, or plant.

Strong leadership experience in Operations and Sales within corrugated, flexible packaging, or printing industries (other relevant manufacturing backgrounds may be considered).

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with hands-on leadership.
- Must be based in the Lower Mainland, BC, with ability to travel regularly to U.S. facilities.
