Responsibilities
- Find and develop new business opportunities across Canada and the USA.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and key decision-makers.
- Visit customers regularly to understand their needs and recommend suitable products and solutions.
- Grow existing accounts while actively bringing in new clients.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and customer demands.
- Work closely with internal teams such as Sales, Operations, and Procurement to ensure smooth customer support and order fulfillment.
- Track sales performance, customer activity, and business opportunities using reports and CRM tools.
- Prepare sales presentations, quotations, and proposals for customers.
- Represent the company professionally at meetings, trade shows, and customer visits.
- Travel regularly within the assigned territory to support business growth.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management.
- Experience in B2B sales, distribution, building materials, manufacturing, or industrial products is preferred.
- Strong ability to generate leads, close deals, and grow customer relationships.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing customer needs.
- Comfortable traveling up to 50% for client meetings and business development.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM system experience is considered an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is preferred but not mandatory with relevant experience.
