About Our Client

Our client is a supplier to the window and door history, with a long history of manufacturing success and ingenuity. We are looking for a Territory Sales Manager to join their team. This role will be focused on account management (70%) and business development (30%) of both new and existing customers. This is a technical sales role where the salesperson must learn and communicate technical information about several different product lines. Manufacturing training will take place at their North American facilities.

This is an opportunity for a strong salesperson with excellent communication skills to join a reputable company within the window and door industry. The successful incumbent will work from their home office and travel to meet clients in the field regularly. The role will include a base salary, monthly commission, auto allowance, expenses for fuel and travel, vacation and medical/dental. Responsibilities:

  • Direct sales of window and door products to customers in the assigned territory
  • Provide exceptional customer support to customers
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
  • General new accounts through prospecting, follow up and industry networking
  • Manage existing accounts and increase sales through providing high quality customer support and technical expertise
  • Liaise with technical staff to obtain important cost and product information
  • Input information into the CRM system
  • Stay up to date on market trends and information
  • Visit customers in the field and provide technical expertise and exceptional customer service
  • Attend industry events and trade shows



Qualifications:

  • At least 3-5 years of outside sales experience
  • Proven sales accomplishments the window and door industry
  • A technical aptitude or science degree is preferred
  • A consultative sales approach
  • Able to travel overnight and visit customers as needed
  • Able to work effectively from a home office
  • Team player attitude
