About the client:

Our client is a Canadian manufacturer specializing in high-quality, custom-designed windows, doors, and patio openings for both residential and commercial applications. The company boasts strong presence in British Columbia and expanding operations into the United States.


They are currently adding an Architectural/Builder Sales Representative to their well-established Washington State team. The new hire will be working remotely (no office presence required) and visiting customers in-person to drive sales of premium windows and doors with high-end home builders, architects, designers, and luxury homeowners.


This role is ideal for someone with a strong network in the luxury home industry and a passion for high-quality craftsmanship. Candidates located within driving distance from Seattle, WA would be preferred.


Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and cultivate relationships with custom home builders, architects, designers, and developers in Washington’s luxury home market.
  • Sales & Client Management: Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and consultations to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Networking & Industry Presence: Attend home shows, networking events, and trade expos to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with high-end showrooms and independent sales reps to expand reach.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on luxury home trends, competitor products, and customer preferences.
  • Project Coordination: Work closely with contractors and project managers to ensure smooth product delivery and installation.

 

Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of sales or industry experience within the A&D community.
  • Proven experience in luxury home product sales, preferably windows, doors, or related high-end building materials.
  • Strong connections with architects, builders, and designers in Washington’s luxury market.
  • Ability to manage long sales cycles and consultative selling.
  • Self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledge of premium window and door brands is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Computer proficiency, including strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Other industry related to computer skills (CAD, Presentation software, etc.) are a plus.
  • Highly organized and able to maintain projects to include all drawings, correspondence, quotations, and customer communications.
  • Enthusiastic and motivated learner who is able to keep up with rapid innovation and assimilate new information.
  • Adept networker.
  • Maintain the ability to lift and transport samples weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.

 

Compensation:

  • USD $60,000-90,000 base salary. Uncapped commission on top.
