A well-established industrial electrical power solutions firm based in British Columbia, Canada. With decades of experience, they partner with leading electrical equipment manufacturers to deliver expert system analysis, engineered solutions, and reliable power infrastructure products across diverse sectors.



Core Responsibilities

  • Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to customers, distributors, and internal sales teams
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and scope to ensure technical compliance
  • Perform product selection, sizing, and application engineering for electrical equipment
  • Prepare accurate technical quotations, proposals, and submittal packages
  • Coordinate with manufacturers on pricing, lead times, technical clarifications, and approvals
  • Serve as the technical point of contact after award to support project execution and close-out
  • Support smooth handover from sales to operations and service teams
  • Assist with system-level considerations including grounding, coordination, and power quality
  • Participate in site visits, customer meetings, training sessions, and manufacturer updates as required
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity tracking, documentation, and reporting
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes, templates, and technical documentation


Technical Focus Areas (One or More Preferred)

  • Electrical engineering or application engineering for electrical products
  • Technical sales or support of electrical distribution equipment or similar engineered products
  • Experience with Hitachi, Rex, Powell, i-Gard, or comparable product lines


Qualifications & Experience

  • 3–7+ years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or inside sales within the electrical industry
  • Hands-on experience supporting engineered or configured electrical equipment
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and specifications
  • Experience managing RFQs, quotations, and technical documentation with manufacturers
  • Proven technical communication skills with engineers, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
  • Experience using CRM systems for opportunity tracking and documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple RFQs and projects concurrently while meeting deadlines

Salary: $75,000-$110,000 (negotiable) | paid vacation | health benefits and more
