Business Development Manager - PPE

About Our Client:

Our client is a leading Canadian manufacturer of personal protective equipment (PPE) and recycling services, based in Metro Vancouver. They have a national presence in the healthcare, industrial, and government sectors. We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team, focused on selling PPE and related products and services. 


Salary will be commensurate with experience. Our client offers a competitive, uncapped commission plan.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across assigned sectors and regions
  • Generate and manage a pipeline of qualified leads through outreach and market research
  • Promote product and service offerings through persuasive and consultative selling
  • Manage the full sales cycle — from lead generation to closing and account expansion
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, customer support) to ensure client satisfaction
  • Prepare forecasts, reports, and performance analyses to inform sales strategy
  • Represent the company at meetings, training sessions, and customer events
  • Support ongoing account development, including product penetration and distributor coordination

 

Qualifications:

  • Business development experience tied with proven sales accomplishments
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (business or related field)
  • 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, with a strong focus on hunting for new clients/business
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Proven ability to hit and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
