Business Development Manager - PPE

About Our Client:

Our client is a leading Canadian manufacturer of personal protective equipment (PPE), based in Metro Vancouver, with a national presence in the healthcare, industrial, and government sectors. We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team, focused on selling PPE and related products and services. 


Salary will be commensurate with experience. Our client offers a competitive, uncapped commission plan. We will consider candidates with PPE sales experience anywhere across Canada. Candidates without PPE sales experience will only be considered in the Greater Vancouver Area for training purposes.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across assigned sectors and regions
  • Generate and manage a pipeline of qualified leads through outreach and market research
  • Promote product and service offerings through persuasive and consultative selling
  • Manage the full sales cycle — from lead generation to closing and account expansion
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, customer support) to ensure client satisfaction
  • Prepare forecasts, reports, and performance analyses to inform sales strategy
  • Represent the company at meetings, training sessions, and customer events
  • Support ongoing account development, including product penetration and distributor coordination

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (business or related field)
  • 3–5 years of B2B sales experience (PPE, medical equipment/devices or manufactured products strongly preferred)
  • Proven ability to hit and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
