They are currently looking for a Surgical Product Manager to join their team. This national role will be based out of their Vancouver office and will report to the Director of Business Development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of assigned product categories, developing and implementing strategies to grow sales and enhance brand presence.
  • Support on-site activities including customer meetings, in-services, and product trials or evaluations.
  • Drive business development by expanding current customer value and acquiring new accounts; track progress with regular performance metrics.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clinical stakeholders, such as charge nurses, department managers, and surgeons.
  • Create and execute business plans for specific product lines, including participation in trade shows and targeted account visits.
  • Develop deep clinical and industry expertise, pursuing ongoing learning opportunities in surgical specialties.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to maintain effective partnerships, negotiate terms, ensure accountability, and explore new product opportunities.
  • Work closely with Sales Specialists, Territory Managers, and District Managers across Canada to educate and support product promotion in high-potential markets.
  • Actively contribute to the broader management team, occasionally supporting initiatives beyond your direct scope.
  • Partner with customer service, operations, and marketing to drive category growth and improve efficiency.
  • Manage related expenses (travel, conferences, promotions) with a focus on cost-effectiveness and results.
  • Represent the company with professionalism and integrity at all times.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in medical or surgical sales, with established customer relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to clinical audiences.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on customer service and value delivery.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach; shares knowledge and supports collective goals.
  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Able to travel when necessary, up to 25%
