About Our Client:

Our client is a well-established Canadian distributor offering a wide range of building isolation products and solutions to Architects, Engineers, Designers, OEMs, Contractors, and Property/Factory Managers. Due to company’s growth and expansion, they are adding a Regional Business Development Manager in the Greater Toronto Area (fully remote position).

The new hire will drive strategic growth, expand the regional market presence, and deliver effective noise and vibration control solutions. This hybrid role blends client acquisition, solution development, and regional oversight, requiring both high-level thinking and hands-on execution.

The role involves business development by cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients and industry associates, including consultants and architects, through various channels such as phone, email, and in-person correspondence, presentations, industry events, project assistance, and site visits when requested. Support for business development activities may extend across Canada as needed.

In technical sales, responsibilities include product selection, providing quotations, managing projects, and offering product and application guidance, training, and insights to both customers and consultants. Regional management duties may involve overseeing warehouse materials, sales team training and management, as well as identifying and implementing growth strategies aligned with company objectives.

The role also includes collaborating with the marketing team by contributing insights to campaigns and creating or supporting content such as articles, case studies, and informative videos for company use.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a well-established and respected company providing access to industry-leading products and innovative solutions. They also offer a positive work environment that supports a healthy work-life balance as well as a supportive management that empowers team members.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Applied Science or Mechanical Engineering is preferred; other technical disciplines will also be considered based on relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of noise and vibration isolation, with a strong understanding of acoustical principles and their application in construction and mechanical systems.
  • Proven ability to interpret acoustical requirements from specifications and reports, and to develop and recommend effective, project-specific solutions.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and operations.
  • Demonstrated passion for the industry, with a results-driven mindset and a strong motivation to contribute to business growth.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts in both verbal and written formats, and to correspond professionally and promptly with internal teams, clients, and consultants.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); familiarity with project management tools is an asset.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar design/drafting software is a plus.
  • Dependable, with a strong sense of accountability and a positive, proactive attitude in day-to-day work.
  • Committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethical practices in all business activities and client interactions.

Compensation:

  • $100,000-125,000 base salary
  • Bonuses to reward contributions
  • Extended health benefits
  • Paid time off
