About Our Client

Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their finance team. This position will report to the Director of Finance. This position is primarily responsible for full cycle accounts receivable. They are looking for an excellent team player and someone who thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue invoices in compliance with company policies
  • Post customer cash receipts accurately and in a timely manner
  • Process and review customer credit applications
  • Conduct credit and collections outreach to customers
  • Reconcile customer accounts, respond to inquiries, and investigate any discrepancies
  • Provide backup support to the Accounts Payable Clerk, including matching vendor invoices with purchase orders and packing slips, verifying invoice details, posting in accordance with company policies, and assisting with payment processing
  • Provide reception coverage as needed
  • Support the Director of Finance & Administration with various projects and ad hoc tasks


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting or a related discipline, pursuing a CPA designation
  • Must have 2+ years of recent related accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient MS Office Skills (Office 365, Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
  • Excellent time management and communication skills

This role is Monday - Friday in the Langley office, 8:30am - 5:00pm
