The Role
You will be joining our rapidly expanding Data & AI Strategy team at Capgemini Invent, where we are leading the way in designing and implementing effective strategies and operating models that transform how organizations across all sectors utilize data and AI. We are building a strong team of experts across the data and AI lifecycle and are seeking talented individuals to enhance our position as leaders in consulting for data and AI strategy and operating models.
As a Manager or Senior Manager, you will combine exceptional delivery with thought leadership, becoming a trusted advisor to senior clients. You will lead teams of data and AI consultants and technical specialists from across Capgemini in the design and implementation of large-scale, complex data and AI operating models to enhance their capabilities.
We are looking for candidates with consulting experience in one or more of the following sectors: Transport, Energy, Utilities, Government, Defense, Consumer Products and Retail, Healthcare, and Financial Services.
As a Data & AI Operating Model Manager, you will take on a leadership role in preparing organizations for the fourth industrial revolution by helping them effectively leverage data and AI to achieve business goals:

You will lead our Data & AI operating model projects, transforming data, analytics, and AI capabilities across entire organizations. This includes developing innovative designs and managing complex implementations for teams of varying sizes and maturity levels.

You will collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to evaluate the maturity of existing data capabilities, identifying opportunities for reuse and gaps in capabilities. You will align these insights with strategic objectives to create blueprints for the organization's operating model.

You will cultivate trusted relationships with senior clients, allowing you to offer guidance and advisory services across a wide range of data and analytics capabilities throughout the entire data and analytics value chain.

You will integrate operational model assessment and design with business change expertise, leading not only the creation of operating models for our clients but also their practical implementation. This includes mentoring senior clients to become exceptional data leaders.

You will drive the incorporation of ethical, responsible, and sustainable data practices into operating models, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and ethical standards.

You will contribute to the growth of our practice by identifying new market opportunities, developing innovative offerings, and creating thought leadership content. In our Data & AI Strategy team, you will assume a leadership role as we continue to scale, playing a key part in developing our talent and enhancing our market and capability expertise.

You will proactively identify growth opportunities within our accounts, leading the qualification of commercial prospects, crafting proposals, and assembling teams that address client needs. You will collaborate with stakeholders across Invent and the Capgemini Group to leverage the full range of available services, creating integrated approaches that deliver maximum value for our clients.
We seek candidates with proven experience in the following areas:

Organizational Design Experience: You can advise clients on creating effective data teams, from data product development teams to leading Chief Data Offices. You understand how to design and implement effective reporting structures, delivery methodologies, governance processes, and the skill sets required for modern data teams.

Knowledge of Effective Data & Analytics Delivery Models: You possess expert knowledge of various delivery and deployment methodologies for data teams, including agile data product development, AI/ML Ops, and Analytics Ops. You adapt these methodologies to align with clients’ objectives and organizational structures.

Understanding of Business Architecture: You appreciate the importance of aligning data and analytics teams with current or future business architecture. You design data and analytics teams to integrate seamlessly with the organization and relevant third parties.

Knowledge of the Data Value Chain: You have extensive experience across the entire data lifecycle, from acquisition and creation to exploitation and archival. You can identify where processes and workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and enrichment are needed, collaborating with stakeholders and guiding junior colleagues to define and implement these processes.

Understanding of Data Tooling: You have a deep understanding of the various data and analytical tools and platforms available. You can identify the necessary tools at different points in an organization's value chain and advise clients on the most suitable options for their specific needs.

Excellent Communication Skills: You have a proven track record of engaging with stakeholders across client organizations, confidently presenting and discussing ideas with C-suite executives, end-users, and technical staff.

Strategy Development and Implementation: You can lead clients and colleagues in defining strategic goals for data and analytical capabilities. You leverage your experience to continuously assess operating model strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and adapting models flexibly to meet changing client needs.

Knowledge of Scaling Data Capabilities: You understand the significance of scaling data capabilities both up and down, guiding clients on how to leverage technology to help teams streamline processes and evolve in response to organizational demands.
To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years.
