A dynamic organization is seeking an experienced Full-Time Bookkeeper to manage bookkeeping for multiple companies across a variety of industries, in addition to handling select personal financial matters. This role requires a high level of accuracy, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple sets of books simultaneously while adapting to different business needs.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident working independently. Strong numerical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to think creatively and problem-solve are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple companies across different industries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for each entity
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports and summaries as needed
- Track expenses, income, and cash flow across multiple accounts
- Manage and organize financial documentation and records
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Handle select personal financial bookkeeping matters with discretion
- Adapt bookkeeping practices to meet the unique needs of each business
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper managing multiple entities
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly organized with strong time-management abilities
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Comfortable working independently and thinking “outside the box”
- Proficiency with accounting software and financial tools
