The Accounts Receivable Director will provide executive-level oversight and strategic direction for the billing, collections, and reconciliation functions across a portfolio of skilled nursing facilities. This position requires extensive healthcare A/R experience, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care billing.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing complex healthcare receivables, leading multi-level A/R teams, and ensuring compliance, accuracy, and financial integrity across multiple facilities. This is a full-time, on-site role with required travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage corporate, regional, and facility-level A/R teams.
• Oversee all aspects of billing, collections, projections, and reconciliations.
• Integrate A/R into financials, including month-end close and bad debt analysis.
• Monitor receivables, aging reports, and cash flow performance.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance and accuracy in billing and reporting.
• Develop and implement process improvements for operational efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with executive leadership and financial teams.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Healthcare Accounts Receivable at the Director level for a multi-facility skilled nursing portfolio.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and private pay billing.
• Experience with healthcare billing systems, CWFs, resident liability, and CMS regulations.
• Expertise in month-end close, reconciliation, and A/R reporting.
• Proven management and leadership experience.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel as needed and work full-time, on-site.
• Positive, professional attitude with the ability to motivate and lead teams.
