As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce overhead costs, and enhance productivity. With a proven track record of process improvement, you will lead initiatives to streamline operations and implement innovative solutions. You will also spearhead a project to identify and integrate a new software/system to enhance our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead and mentor a team of supervisors and staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Take initiative to address operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Spearhead a project to research, select, and implement a new software/system to optimize manufacturing processes and operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems and processes.
• Manage budgets, control overhead costs, and ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on operational performance and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Proven track record of improving processes, reducing overhead costs, and increasing operational efficiency in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Initiative-driven with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and implementing solutions.
• Experience in selecting and implementing software/systems to enhance operations.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Location: Linden, NJ

Salary: $150K-$200K
