The Shop Manager will oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production runs smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule. This role involves leading shop floor staff, coordinating workflows, maintaining quality standards, and proactively resolving operational challenges as they arise.

The ideal candidate is hands on, highly organized, and experienced in manufacturing environments where teamwork, planning, and problem solving are critical. This is a leadership role for someone who takes ownership of results and knows how to motivate teams while maintaining structure and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day to day manufacturing and shop floor operations

• Lead, supervise, and support production staff

• Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols are met

• Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements

• Troubleshoot operational issues and resolve production challenges

• Coordinate with management on workflow planning and staffing needs

• Maintain a clean, organized, and productive shop environment

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or shop floor management

• Proven leadership experience managing teams in a production setting

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Proactive problem solver with a hands on management style

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment

• Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
