We are a growing manufacturing plant seeking a Senior Mechanical Manager to serve as the general manager for all maintenance-related activities.

The Senior Mechanical Manager will oversee maintenance operations and be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of manufacturing and packaging machinery. Management skills and experience in leading a team are essential for this role, as they are our top priority.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the site maintenance team, providing both reactive and proactive maintenance services on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure.
• Create planned maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of work.
• Improve maintenance operational effectiveness, project delivery, and downtime reduction.
• Define and monitor maintenance improvement plans and objectives, proposing and implementing work processes and procedures to enhance equipment reliability.
• Maintain team competencies, motivation, and performance to achieve site targets and objectives.
• Prioritize and control the repair and maintenance budget.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
• Foster collaboration between production, quality, sanitation, and warehouse teams for equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure technical integrity and compliance of equipment with all regulations.
• Hiring and Firing.
• Preventive Maintenance Scheduling, Hands-On Repairs, Troubleshooting and Diagnosis Machinery Assessment.

Qualifications:

• Managerial and leadership experience is very important and is top priority.
• Excellent communication and team interaction skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks under time and cost pressure.
• Mechanical Knowledge preferred.

Salary: $150,000-$200,000k
