We are looking for a dependable and resourceful Dispatcher to join our transportation company in Monsey. In this role, you'll serve as the central communication point for drivers during active shifts, ensuring smooth operations and quick responses to any issues that arise. Ideal candidates are calm under pressure, great with people, and able to think on their feet in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in dispatching, transportation, or team supervision is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main point of contact for drivers during shifts.
• Relay instructions, updates, and route changes to drivers in real-time.
• Quickly respond to service interruptions, emergencies, or driver issues.
• Dispatch replacement buses or drivers as needed to minimize disruptions.
• Help ensure a safe, reliable, and customer-friendly transit experience.
• Operate dispatch software, radio systems, GPS tracking tools, and scheduling platforms effectively.

Qualifications:

• Available Sunday through Thursday, 12:00–8:00 PM or 2:00–10:00 PM (with a 1-hour break) and part-time on Fridays.
• Calm under pressure with a consistently positive attitude.
• must be a people person who communicates well and maintains composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Quick thinker and confident problem-solver, capable of making smart, independent decisions.
• Prior experience in transportation, dispatching, logistics, or a similar industry is a strong plus.
• Previous experience managing people is highly preferred.
• Yiddish-speaking is highly preferred.
• Must be local to Rockland County.

Location: Monsey, NY

Salary: $100k- $130k
