A full time Web Designer is needed for a large nonprofit organization in Lakewood, NJ. Must have 3+ years of web design and front end development experience with strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Ideal for a performance focused designer with expertise in responsive, mobile first design and the ability to convert mockups into clean, production ready code.
We are seeking a skilled Web Designer to join a high level digital marketing team within a well established nonprofit organization. This role combines strong visual design ability with front end development expertise to ensure accurate implementation of designs into responsive, accessible, and conversion focused websites.
The ideal candidate has an eye for detail, strong collaboration skills, and a deep understanding of modern web standards. You will work closely with designers and marketing teams to translate concepts into fully functional web pages that are fast, optimized, and user friendly.
This is a full time, in office position based in Lakewood, NJ.
Key Responsibilities:
• Convert designs into responsive, high quality HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code
• Ensure consistent and accurate implementation of design elements
• Optimize websites for performance and mobile responsiveness
• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams
• Implement best practices for accessibility and SEO
• Maintain clean, organized, and version controlled code
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of web design and front end development experience
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Experience working with SASS and CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap
• Familiarity with Git version control
• Understanding of SEO principles including semantic HTML, meta tags, structured data, and accessibility standards
• Figma experience preferred
• PHP knowledge a plus
