A growing warehouse operation in Jackson, NJ is seeking a hands on Warehouse Manager to oversee employees and ensure the warehouse runs efficiently throughout the day.

This role requires someone who knows how to manage people while also being willing to jump in and work alongside the team when necessary. The Warehouse Manager will oversee pickers and packers, delegate work across departments, maintain workplace standards, and make sure employees are productive, punctual, and focused.

The company is also looking to automate and improve its warehouse systems in the future, so experience with warehouse technology, automation, or implementing more efficient processes would be a valuable plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee warehouse pickers and packers

• Delegate daily responsibilities and ensure workloads are properly distributed

• Walk through warehouse departments regularly to monitor workflow and productivity

• Ensure employees arrive on time and follow workplace policies

• Maintain accountability around productivity, phone usage, attendance, and performance

• Make sure orders are picked, packed, and handled accurately and efficiently

• Identify areas where employees or departments need additional support

• Work directly alongside the warehouse team when needed

• Address day to day employee and operational issues

• Improve organization, workflow, and overall warehouse efficiency

• Help management evaluate and eventually implement warehouse automation and improved systems

• Maintain a productive, organized, and accountable warehouse environment

Qualifications:

• Prior warehouse or operations experience strongly preferred

• Strong people management and delegation skills

• Experience overseeing warehouse employees, pickers, packers, or similar teams preferred

• Hands on management style and willingness to work alongside employees

• Strong ability to hold employees accountable while maintaining positive working relationships

• Organized, responsible, and proactive

• Strong problem solving and communication skills

• Warehouse automation, technology, or process improvement experience is a plus

• Spanish speaking is a plus
