A fast growing and award winning IT and low voltage services company is seeking a motivated and results driven Business Development Manager to expand its market presence and develop new client relationships. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building long term client relationships, and working closely with internal teams to deliver technology solutions that meet client needs. Key Responsibilities:
• Prospect and generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and industry events
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline across IT and low voltage markets
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract execution
• Conduct discovery meetings, presentations, and solution consultations
• Perform site visits and assessments to understand customer needs
• Review plans and specifications to recommend appropriate technology solutions
• Prepare proposals, estimates, and bid submissions
• Negotiate contracts and close new business opportunities
• Build long term relationships with contractors, consultants, property managers, business owners, and end users
• Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships
• Stay informed on emerging technologies, market trends, and competitive activity
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure profitable and successful project execution
Qualifications:
• Proven business development or sales experience required
• Experience as a successful "hunter" in IT infrastructure sales preferred
• MSP experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of IT systems and familiarity with low voltage technologies
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
• Valid driver's license required for customer site visits
