We are looking for a dynamic Buyer Team Leader to oversee all aspects of purchasing and vendor relations. This position requires a sharp, strategic thinker with the ability to develop and lead a high-performing procurement team, manage large vendor accounts, and innovate purchasing processes to improve operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate brings extensive purchasing experience, cross-functional leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to execution in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the purchasing team to achieve organizational goals
  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives
  • Oversee vendor negotiations, onboarding, and performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and product teams
  • Optimize purchasing processes for efficiency and scalability
  • Monitor budgets, forecasts, and KPIs related to procurement


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior purchasing or procurement role
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Experience managing large-scale procurement operations
  • Exceptional negotiation and vendor management abilities
  • Ability to innovate and streamline purchasing systems
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills


Location: NYC (Hybrid)


Salary: $150,000+
