HR Generalist

The HR Generalist will support the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and leadership, ensuring HR operations run smoothly while helping foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment. This is an in-person, full time role requiring strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.


Key Responsibilities:

• Manage HR administration, policies, and employee support

• Oversee time and attendance, PTO, and compliance using HRIS systems (ADP or similar)

• Handle recruiting and onboarding including job postings, interviews, offers, and orientations

• Administer benefits, 401k, FMLA, and compliance requirements

• Support employee engagement, recognition programs, and feedback initiatives

• Prepare HR reports and assist with disciplinary actions and terminations

• Serve as a resource to leadership on HR processes and best practices


Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of HR experience (Generalist or Coordinator level)

• Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS systems

• Strong knowledge of HR processes, labor laws, and compliance

• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills

• Ability to work independently and think proactively

• Prior in-office HR experience required


Location: Lakewood, NJ

Type: Full time, in-office

Salary: $65,000–$75,000/year
