Donation and Donor Relations Administrative assistant

A nonprofit organization is hiring a Fundraising Admin to support its growing development department. This role is key to maintaining accurate donation records, managing pledges, and ensuring timely communication with donors. The ideal candidate is proactive, tech-savvy, and comfortable working with nonprofit systems and financial tracking platforms.

You’ll work closely with the fundraising and finance teams to streamline processes, enhance donor engagement, and maintain a smooth back-end operation that supports impactful programming.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage donation and pledge processing
  • Maintain accurate financial and donor records
  • Communicate with donors and support donor relations
  • Handle financial data entry and basic bookkeeping
  • Assist with donor reporting and fundraising campaign tracking
  • Utilize platforms like JL and Funding Source for data management


Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in financial data entry and donor software
  • Bookkeeping or accounting background preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Experience in the nonprofit sector a plus


Location: Monsey, NY

Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000–$90,000
