Authorization Coordinator

Our homecare organization is looking for a dedicated Authorization Coordinator to join our team in Boro Park. This full-time entry-level position involves managing and processing authorizations to ensure the smooth operation of our services. The role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information.


  • Run bi-weekly reports of all expiring authorizations.
  • Follow up and obtain all expiring and/or expired authorizations.
  • Review authorization information for accuracy.
  • Enter all authorizations for active and new cases.
  • Assist the finance department in obtaining proper authorizations when denials are received.
  • Gather confirmation from coordinators when there is a service hour change.
  • Perform other related tasks as required.


  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and maintain confidential information.
  • Basic understanding of insurance and medical terminology is a plus.
  • Proficiency in office software and data entry.

Location: Boro Park

Salary: $25-$30 hourly
