The Low Voltage Field Operations Manager will lead and develop field technicians, ensuring high quality installations and strong team performance across commercial projects. This role serves as the senior technical authority in the field, responsible for coaching, training, and supporting technicians while maintaining company standards.

The ideal candidate is both technically strong and people focused, with the ability to mentor teams, resolve complex issues, and improve overall field performance. This is a key leadership role that directly impacts team growth, quality control, and operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and mentor field technicians to improve performance

• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and support team development

• Support hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations

• Develop and implement training programs for technicians

• Identify skill gaps and drive targeted improvement plans

• Establish and enforce installation standards and best practices

• Conduct field audits and site visits to ensure quality and consistency

• Serve as escalation point for complex technical issues

• Collaborate with project managers and leadership to align operations

• Lead team meetings focused on performance and growth

Qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of experience in the low voltage industry required

• Experience leading, mentoring, or training field technicians

• Strong expertise in CCTV, access control, structured cabling, AV, and networking

• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in the field

• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Highly organized with strong problem solving skills

• Ability to work in a fast paced, evolving environment
