We are a retail medical supply store working closely with prescriptions and insurance providers, and we are currently seeking a Medical Supplies Customer Service to join our team. This role is ideal for a compassionate, reliable, and customer-focused individual who enjoys helping people and feels comfortable in a sales-oriented environment.
The position involves working directly with customers both in person and over the phone, assisting them in understanding prescriptions, fitting medical products, and ensuring they receive the correct and most comfortable items for their needs. In addition to customer interaction, the role includes handling prescriptions, working with insurance, and performing basic administrative tasks. Comprehensive training on products and processes is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers who walk into the store
- Help customers understand and fill prescriptions
- Fit customers with medical products listed on their prescriptions
- Guide customers in selecting comfortable and appropriate medical products
- Process prescriptions received when customers are not in-store
- Contact customers by phone to assist with fittings, orders, and follow-ups
- Work with insurance companies to process and sell medical products
- Upsell products when appropriate (multiple items, insurance approvals, prescriptions)
- Perform basic office and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Basic office or administrative experience
- Comfortable using computers and office systems
- Enjoys working with people and providing hands-on customer support
- Sales-oriented mindset; comfortable recommending and selling products
- Medical supply, medical office, or insurance background preferred but not required
- Willing and able to learn medical products and procedures (training provided)
Schedule

Sunday: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Monday–Thursday: Must be available until 6:00 PM
- Shifts may vary (e.g., 10–6, 12–6, 1–6)
- One weekday off required due to Sunday shift

- Mature, patient, and sensitive to customer needs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliable, responsible, and capable of working independently
