The Field Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of field execution, ensuring projects are properly planned, staffed, and completed to the highest standards. This role requires an experienced leader who understands fire alarm and related systems from the ground up and can manage crews, schedules, inventory, and inspections while maintaining quality and compliance.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of leading technicians in a fast paced environment. This position serves as the primary liaison between the field, project managers, contractors, and inspectors, ensuring projects progress smoothly from kickoff through final sign off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and plan field execution of projects

• Lead, schedule, and supervise field technicians and crews

• Manage inventory, tools, equipment, and company vehicles

• Serve as the primary field contact for contractors and project managers

• Conduct pre inspection testing and quality checks

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and applicable codes

• Represent the company during inspections and approvals

• Troubleshoot field issues and resolve challenges quickly

• Hire, onboard, and develop field personnel

• Maintain productivity, accountability, and operational excellence

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in fire alarm, electrical, or related field work required

• Proven experience leading field crews and managing projects

• Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings

• Strong knowledge of inspections, code requirements, and field operations

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Valid NYS driver's license required

• OSHA, SST, and FDNY certifications preferred

• Experience with AI tools and technology a plus
