The Chief Financial Officer will oversee all financial operations and serve as a key strategic partner to ownership and executive leadership. This role requires deep experience in CPG financial management, including cost structures, margins, forecasting, and scaling product based operations, as well as hands on involvement in mergers and acquisitions.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership presence, capable of guiding financial strategy, managing complex transactions, and supporting long term growth initiatives. This is a high impact role for a seasoned finance executive with proven experience in both operational finance and M&A.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Lead financial strategy for a CPG or product based business
• Manage and execute mergers and acquisitions from financial due diligence through integration
• Analyze margins, cost structures, and profitability across product lines
• Provide strategic financial guidance to ownership and executive leadership
• Oversee cash flow management and long term financial planning
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
• Build and lead the finance team as the company scales
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of senior level financial leadership experience required
• Extensive experience in CPG or product based businesses required
• Proven experience managing mergers and acquisitions
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, inventory, and cost accounting
• Strategic mindset with strong analytical and decision making skills
• Ability to partner closely with executive leadership
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
