We're looking for a talented and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Trim Carpentry Design Specialist in Lakewood. In this role, you will be responsible for using your carpentry skills and design knowledge to create visually appealing and functional finish carpentry projects. From interpreting design concepts to meticulous craftsmanship, your expertise will be essential in delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

• Design Interpretation: Collaborate with clients and design teams to understand project requirements and translate them into detailed design plans.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation to communicate finish carpentry designs and installation requirements.
• Finish Carpentry: Utilize carpentry/woodwork skills to advise on the construction and installation of finish carpentry elements such as trim work, molding, cabinetry, and built-ins.
• Material Selection: Research and select appropriate materials for finish carpentry projects, considering aesthetics, durability, and budget constraints.
• Communication: Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of design elements. Coordinate schedules, materials, and installation processes.
• Installation: Work with installation teams to ensure proper fit and functionality of finish carpentry elements. Provide guidance and support during the installation process.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks throughout the finish carpentry process. Address any issues promptly to maintain high standards.

• Expertise in finish carpentry and design.
• Strong carpentry/woodwork skills.
• Ability to interpret design concepts and create detailed design plans.

Location: Lakewood, NJ

Salary: $75,000-$95,000
