Our social services team in Boro Park is seeking an Employment Engagement Manager (Career Coach) to join us. This role involves assisting job seekers in identifying their strengths and guiding them towards suitable career paths. The position offers a competitive salary range of $60k to $70k.

Responsibilities:

• Assist job seekers in identifying their skills, interests, and career goals.
• Provide career coaching and guidance to help individuals navigate the job market.
• Conduct assessments to determine job readiness and training needs.
• Develop personalized career plans and action steps for clients.
• Connect job seekers with training programs, job opportunities, and support services.
• Offer resume writing assistance, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
• Collaborate with employers and community organizations to create employment opportunities.
• Track and report client progress and outcomes.
• Stay updated on industry trends, labor market information, and job search resources.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, human resources, or related field.
• Previous experience in career coaching, employment counseling, or related role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathetic and understanding approach to working with job seekers.
• Knowledge of career development theories and assessment tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with community resources and support services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000
